my back has gotten to the point, i don't do long trips no more. if i drive 150 miles, to me, that's a long trip.  be sore for 2 days after. i watch 'travel shows' on the public stations to make up for lack of travel. they go places i'd never think of anyway....great programs on nearly anyplace i could imagine.  this is kinda me:

How are things going with all them refugees. I hear they are raping women even in broad daylight over there. Such sad news.

Serbia is just a passing country, they stay here for a day or two and move on. If EU closes it's borders, it will be "fun", so to say.
I think violence is not that serious as one could conclude from your post. I don't know where you get the info, in our news it is not that dramatic, by a long shot. Ona new year eve, in Germany, there were sexual assaults reprorted, maybe even one rape, but ever since nothing simillar. Sexual assault can be anythong, down to holding one's hand without permission.

I'm more concerned about long term consequences, preserving autohtone culture and such. For example, our natality is decreasing, while all these people come from cultures where natality growth is one of the main faactors and so on. But if we are not smart enough, if our society is not good enough, develloped enough to preserve it self, maybe it's time for a change? Evolution takes no prisoners. Life.

Vladan, pretty much, that's my perspective on the u.s. 

if we do like the American Indian did-allow foreigners to take over our land and culture-then natural selection will substitute 'them' for 'us'.  Darwin, iow, had a point. when a society loses its warriors, decline is sure to follow.

in wars, it's called 'a beachhead', and other societies already have one here.

here, all the attention is focused on the southern border, when the Canadians are doing the same thing from the northern border...oh, hello, Robert!

we don't have ANY border anymore....glad i'm not 20 years old.
