Robert's Quicklicks
« on: January 21, 2014, 04:03:12 AM »
Yeah, lame name... perhaps Renman's Quickies is better?  :-X

I'm doing free, short video lessons every week now. They have no vocals but just a cool lick played at normal tempo and in slow motion.

Got any requests? I'm going from Metal Tapping styles to Bluegrass... :)

What can I say - Jack of all trades, Master of none!

I can relate! New Fusion (that's what I call that) is nice! I don't have the ability to touch that though. It was all I could do to that Return to Forever stuff in the 70s. I might have some residue in my hand from those days, but for the most part I'll stick to Blues.

I liked both of those vids and thanks for sharing MLJ. Kenny Wayne got that "back in the day" vibe like I can actually play. I guess I don't feel that intimidating with that. I shouldn't feel that way at all, but when you get to a point (in life) where you start to lose a step or two it can be quite frustrating.

Would like to see some country licks, some chicken picking and some country boogie stuff.
