Hey, cool! Now do that with a string through design.   Incidently, out of curiousity where did those compensated string saddles come from? Reason I asked is they look indentical to what I have in my Telecaster. Got mine from RS Guitarworks. I bought all three materials they offer. I started with brass, I currently have the steel installed and so far steel has given me more sustain. Definately brighter. When I feel adventurous, I'll try the aluminum next string change.

It is Wilkinson bridge plate, only I split it in 2, cutting out a stripe of metal, so to place GK3 PU lower, on the wood.
So, now bridge plate is only about 3cm, the rest of the plate, after GK3, serving as PU holder, not connected to the bridge.

I saw the GK3 pickup in there, but I was referring to the bridge "saddles" not the plate. They look like brass from what I can see.

BTW, it has string holles drilled for both "through body" and "toplader" style guitars.

No I did not see this one before, thanks. Wilkinson has "half bridge" thing, only the saddles part.
And yes, I'd still have to ruin bridgeworks for my purpose.

I bought this bridgeplate only because I did not want to cut the original one, but original one already has one le more drilled, cause I could not find original saddle, and the one I found did not align to screw hole ... My trash charachter ...
