New from Joyo Pedals
« on: September 21, 2014, 07:43:59 PM »
Just found 'em an' figured I'd share the knowledge to those of you that have not run across these yet. Check 'em out here!

https://reverb.com/marketplace?query=joyo+iron

Haven't found any demos yet, but I don't doubt there's some around or due out shortly.

If it's Sunday, 7:40 pm EST, 9/21/2014 (like where I am) or wherever you are now, have yourself a great week!

Aaaaaaaand.....while on the pedal subject, let us now look at this device!

https://reverb.com/item/215252-shins-music-clean-drive-price-drop

Some price drop eh? Another product of electronic mastery? OR perhaps another heeping, helping of snake oil?

Let's get some old Joyo pedals, remove the guts from their enclosures, then get some pre-drilled #1290 enclosures transplant the guts, silkscreen them, then label them. Try to be original when you name your pedal. Take the $$$ amount you spent on the old Joyo pedal, the amount you spent on the empty pre-drilled enclosure, the time you spent painting or silk screening and labeling. Oh, let's NOT forget the knobs too! Then lastly triple the entire $$$ amount you have in this endeavor. Get a bunch of folks you know, guitar players (or not, doesn't matter) for hype and raving purposes. Spread the "limited batch" word! Be extremely hard to contact! Sell some pedals. :) ;) ;D 8)

Maybe folks have had enough of buying gear......at least for now. Can't say I blame ya. I know I gotta recover (financially) from my actions as a result of "GAS" attacks. Like DB said in another thread....."I'm done!"

Ahhhhh the Hotone "Skyline" series stompboxes! I believe they have 14 of those little wonders to choose from. They also have four "Nano Legacy", 5 watt heads to choose from as well. For $99.99 usd,! I'm tempted! Nope! Gotta close my eyes whilst I backoff.

I don't have any pedals, but I'd like to have a  delay pedal. The Boss ones go for over $150.  Too much and even the used ones they want $120 for.  Just can't win on the pedal scene.

Sure you can! There's quite a few out there under $100. You know Behringer is known for that and don't forget Joyo.

I saw one of those in person.  Wow, it's small.  That is a control knob on the top that is the size of a Les Paul speed knob.

I have a used Deltalabs Digital Delay.  $25, sounds great, no noise, and built like a tank.
