60 minutes had a story on dave grohl/foo fighters. appears there will a hbo episodes where grohl goes city to city-new orleans, chicago,???-and digs into music history in each city to discover 'what is american music?'.  you may or may not recall grohl was the drummer for nirvana for awhile....he seems intent on actually learning history:
