Hello from Stockport, England
« on: December 23, 2010, 06:54:11 PM »
Hi, my names Mark I've been playing guitar since age 14 now 44. I still have such a passion for the instrument (of torture it some times feels). My first 'Real' guitar was a Westone Thunder 2 which I still have today, a great player, although the wiring and pick ups have been upgraded, it has an amazing neck for a budget guitar at the time about '82. My main guitars are two Patrick Eggles, a 92 Berlin DLX and a 92 Berlin hardtail, excellent guitars, great build and action. My main amp is a Marshall JVM 410C which I love, some great tones to be found, heard some bad reports about them, but I've never had any problems. I use an old Marshall VS65R for home practice. I play pretty much every night, mainly just noodling in front of the TV, but I like to break out now and again. Hope to make some guitar mates on here, Happy days ! Mark

The Westone guitars were sold through catalogues back in the day, my mate had an idea that he would learn but soon gave it up. So I had it off him, it has a fantastic neck and action. I always thought it was a bit weird looking though !
