we pay for the fcc to regulate tv stations by paying taxes-the over the air are supposed to be a public service, and are issued a license...so, when there are tornadoes around, why do i see 'faces' and not radar? had a tornado go right by me last spring, but no radar to see it until way after it passed...dark as the inside of jonah's whale outside...government...paid for by us, useless as mammaries on a bowling ball (yes, i'm still p'o'd at the weather channel here):

Cool, liked it on Sound Cloud.

All, ok, I mean, maybe not all of the governments are the same in that respect. We just have to trust them it's all to our benefit.

Vladan, this is just my 'ears', and i KNOW for a fact i have high frequency hearing loss....it SEEMS to me that soundcloud's 'processing' doesn't affect the mp3 file like soundclick does. i cannot prove that, i have no idea where either outfit is based, but with my hearing, soundcloud sounds 'better'.  could be my imagination.

no, all governments are not the same. ours has gone completely to crap in the last 50 years or so.  i have been making a list of things that are so crazy they make me laugh. i got most of one page filled already. may write 'another protest song' like this 'weatherman' thing....too funny.  i worked for our government for a long while. the incompetence and corruption was staggering.

Reb, now when I read my post I see it's not clear enough, I forgot we are not in face to face communication. First sentence meant they are all crap, and it was serious. The other one, to trust them..., that one was sarcastic.

Re soundcloud and soundclick, I've no idea. It was a long time since I've uploaded something to Soundcloud while Soundclick I've never used. Isn't Soundcloud accepting uncompressed .wav files, or you are uploading uncompressed and they do data compression, something like that, could be the difference?

man, i tell ya...i have no idea.  i listen to a file (mp3) after i load it to soundclick.  i KNOW my ears are not 'near perfect'-seen the hearing tests...but....the mp3 file sounds compressed or something...just 'not like i heard it when i ran it on the bose wave radio' i use for final mix.

then i recently decided that joe gore (premier guitar) must know 'something', and he posts files to soundcloud for the magazine. so i started.

the mp3-same file off my thumb drives to my computer-sound crisper. i dunno what to tell you. maybe it's psycho-logical. i sometimes think i am psycho...;)

governments. look how china has duped their small investors. ours has done the same. know nearly nothing about your government, but i can't believe the big wigs are any more honest or decent anywhere.  all are predatory in my opinion. i wish i thought i was wrong....
