The previous owner changed the bridge pickup to a Dimarzio Tone Zone S, which sounds really good.

I am insanely happy with it, and I wish you all could try it. It's so easy to play, and it sounds great everywhere on the neck.

I deserved it! I have always wanted this guitar and to finally be able to get it is a wonderful feeling for me.

Sold it!? Dang! Didn't do it for ya or a "had to do it" situation? I know 'bout them situations oh so well. Had to wave bye bye to a Fender Telecaster Deluxe last year. Had th' B&B (binding and belly cut) on it too. Gotta do those things sometimes I guess. Made up for it with a brand new PRS Standard 22 last November, so all's not lost.

It didn't do it for me - sounded too thin for some reason. I think the bridge had something weird going on. I wouldn't mind a PRS sometime...

I can dig it. This one (PRS) is my second. The first was an Korean 245 SE single cut with th' soap bar pups an' while it was nice to look at an' sounded "okay", it just quite didn't do it for me. Felt cheap in my hands as well. One of THOSE things I guess, but I'm good with th' one I got now an' that's what counts. Worlds apart!!!

Yeah Robert, glad you got one you enjoy so much. They really motivate one to play more.
