30 Second Guitar Solo's
« on: January 05, 2011, 02:47:54 PM »
I've found myself to a point in my guitar playing where as I can play lead licks and solo's to just about anything once I know the key.  However, when I joined the band, I realized I can't just jump in with a lead solo that's spot on and really cooks.  How about we ask our great friend Robert here to offer quick lessons to that nature.  Something that helps lead into a great solo and something to help finish it off.

I don't know, but it sounds like to me you've already solved your issue. Then again, the the whole thing maybe went over my head. Knowing the key to the song you're playing in, is half the battle. The rest is up to you. You know.... improv etc.
