well, actually it is makizushi

japanese seaweed these days is losing  out to korean seaweed because of cost, but japanese seaweed taste is more natural

i like some japanese food, but sushi is not among those dishes.
i like nikujaga, don buri, ton/tori katsu, om risu, miso soup, SAKE!!!!! teryaki chicken, and other stuff.

I like a limited amount of sushi.  Nothing with tentacles. 

We don't have ( I don't think) very good Japanese food representation in the states.  Its either sush or tempura, which over here is just deep fried stuff..  I don't care for deep fried anything, so I never eat Japanese.  (My wife hates fish) so I never get sushi either.

Actually for most people when they think of sushi, it is fish on rice, but the other sushi is just as popular which I posted a picture in the above thread, it is called makizushi. So when you go to a japanese  restaurant ask for that, you may like it

truer words are rarely spoken. deep frying the turkey is the absolute best way to go, period, end of story. do it once, and if you've done it properly, you'll never want to do it any other way
