NAMM 2011

Well, it was short but intense. 2 days of meeting with interesting people, trying lots of gear and just trying to get the clock to slow down.

I have written about what I saw and did on my blog - http://www.dolphinstreet.com/blog/ .

Some highlights - Tyler, Anderson and Reverend guitars. Johan Gustavsson makes the most incredible guitars you'll ever play. Very nice guy too. Met with Vinnie Smith too, great guy.

Mad Professor make some awesome amps. Yngwie has a Signature Marshall out, and I saw many pretty axes overall.

I was impressed by the Diamond pedals I tried, and Visual Sound has some nice ones too. Malekko and Jack Deville make cool pedals worth a look as well.

Schoen Guitars - those are wicked cool. VERY different and unique. Love the style (see my photos on my blog to find out what I mean).

I really wish they'd bring that show to Detroit!  But if its this time a year, it will never happen because of the Auto shows....
