The news that Gary Moore passed away at 58 is terrible. I saw him 5 times and he always put on an excellent show. He was a fantastic guitarist and brought the Blues to life again for a lot of people, opening doors for a lot of other players. A sad day.

Yes, very terrible. One of my favorite all around guitarist. Truly a talented musician.

Too much partying, died from his own vomit. At least from what I've read. One other source says heart attack.

What a shame it was.  I guess one of the stereo typically flaws of Rock stars is the party till they drop.  They never seem to think about health and longetivity.  RIP Gary

Very sad-i just recently got into his music and was suprised to find out he was in Thin Lizzy-i may be alone but was not aware of that :)
