One of my favorite female performers. Sad that she left us at the age of 33. I guess she was just too sweet for this world.

I didn't know too much about her. I know she was from around my part of the world (Maryland) even though I live in DC now. She did a set of duets with Go-Go musician  Chuck Brown.

I never had the opportunity to see her perform, much less meet her, but somehow I feel she is a soulmate. I'm sure I'm not alone in that feeling.
