St Patrick's Gig Tomorrow!

We are doing a St Patty's Day gig tomorrow at the local Irish pub! Should be fun. My acoustic has a broken pickup or something. Hope I can get it fixed in time, or I'll have to play a crappy acoustic or else an electric...

We played there on Saturday too as a "warm up gig", and we messed a few of the songs, but overall, people were really diggin it.

What's a Greenie?

I'll be using my Pro Junior and my Line 6 M9 unit. That's all I bring to small gigs. So portable!

Greenie = beers with green food coloring. Surely they do that in Canada too?

Yes they do. Even the milkshakes are green at McDonalds.

I prefer black Guinness though...

Just came back from the gig. All went well. Well, the beginning was a bit funky. You see, my amp sounded like crap. After the first song, I took a look, and an EL84 tube was half-way out... I pushed it all the way in, and voila - it sounded great again. At first, I thought the amp had blown up - it sounded horrible...

I will post some good photos later. A friend took lots of good photos during the night.

Good thing it didn't fall out. You might've put it back in the wrong socket.

EDIT: by the way, didn't they use blue food color in the beer? Yellow+blue makes green.
