Line 6 Pocket Pod Express

Anyone ever checked out the Line 6 Pocket Pod Express? It seems so simple to use. I want to spend more time playing, and less time trying to tweak my GT-5. I'm wondering if this might be just the thing I need since I already have an Moreley wah pedal, Line 6 roto-machine pedal, and a MXR Phase 90.

It has the amp models I would most be interested in using, and tweaking using knobs rather than menus is very appealing to me. I'm just wondering about the quality and durability at a $49.95 price point (which is also very appealing!).

At that price point, it doesn't seem like an expensive chance to take. Especially if it has some of the features you can use.

I had a pocket pod and liked it a lot-i used it when i played the drum show with my daughter it made my Crate amp sound great and it clipped right on to the amp handle

I use the pocket pod, but not the express.  For the price of a new express you can find a used pocket pod.  Picked up mine for $60.

Yeah DB...I've been tuning in to that fact too. There are even some refurbs for $85 that include the power adapter, USB cable, etc. I think the A/C adpters alone are about $35 at most places.

I've made a discovery that Boss power adaptor works just fine for the pocket pod.
