Hi everyone, good to see this forum is well underway. I've been playing guitar on and off for 35 years and finally getting it together, thanks in no small part to the interesting and useful lessons from Robert. I've been gigging as a bassist for years and now also as a guitarist. I play blues/punk/trash in my band, we sound like a mix of Stooges, Link Wray, Dr Feelgood (maybe!). I use an old Aria Leopard with Tonerider Rebel 90s instead of the stock DiMarzio Super Distortions, through a Bad Monkey, Tokai Overdrive, Maestro Fuzz clone, Tech21 Bass Compactor into an old Selmer 50 head and the speaker in a busted Fender Yale combo.
