From what I was told, the guitar belonged to a teenager who had the guitar for a couple of years. Didn't play it often, but had fun "making it his own". Most of that stuff may come off, but it might have stained the pickguard and control knobs. Those are fairly easy and cheap to replace. My guess is the kid never did a proper setup, so the guitar may have the action set with the string two inches above the 12th fret. I bet the truss rod has never been touched nor has the pickguard ever been removed. The only part I'm concerned with is the kid used touch up paint all over the body. I'm really curious to know how bad it is. I still haven't seen it in person. But a buddy of mine is driving up there tomorrow to visit family, so he's going to check it out for me. Sure hope I know what I'm getting into....
