I'm not sure, with my poor english, to understand exactly what you say
Perhaps, you regret the old time rock and blues music?
Me too if there is the message
I like rap for its flow rhythm vocal
But the music behind is so poor and inexistent that I prefer read the text (sorry, I don't want to heart anybody)
The fashion imposed by the Majors (money is money) is so hard that everybody play the same thing
Rap is born on the street with no means
The music of the poor man, like Blues yesterday
Today, the rap stars and its majors pay million dollars to play music as poor as at the origin!
Pityfull
I thought I was definitely close to the rap music for that reason My ears were still hungry of music
Fortunately, one day, this album came to my ears by a friend of mine
It blowed my mind
It was the missing link between Blues and Rap
That guy made the connection
He's completely unknown in France though I would like bye other albums
I wish he is known in USA
Chris Thomas playin' "21st century blues...irom da 'hood" published 1994
You'll ear that he doesn't only rap, but he sings also
This guy plays also guitars on all tracks
For those who love Blues Rock guitars and are not afraid by rap singer, this album is for you
I discovered ten years ago, but it's still on my top ten
Wish you 'll enjoy
