Hey Sparkey, how's it going! Glad you joined us.

First advice - listen to the greats - Albert, Freddie, BB King, and maybe checkout www.bellyup4blues.com for more good ideas. :)

Welcome to the forum sparkey.  :)

Good idea to watch Roberts videos here.

There's some "Blues Tutorial" information that might be useful to be found at the top of the page of 12bar.de

Thanks for the replyes will check out the vids, the guitar i picked up is an ibanez tcm50e, as i said i have only been playing a week, i had a wesfeild guitar just before that a few days but found it to big for me so its on ebay, my music knowledge is based on my playing of a ukulele witch i have played for 12 months, whitch i enjoy alot but bb king type music and other blues is what i am drawn to more than anything else, and the guitar seems to have the right feel for me and i am delighted with my ibanez just the right size, i think my westfeild felt big because i was used to playing a tenor ukulele, the thing i found with the ukulele and blues type music and moving down the fret board it sounded a bit choked, or maybe it was my inexperienced playing? regards John
