Hello from Florida
Just joined the forum.  I've played rhythm guitar for over 30 years.  About a year and a half ago, I decided to really learn the instrument.  I found the Am blues scale and how to use it from Marty Schwartz on youtube.  I spend about 2 hours a day practicing with the scales and jam tracks and can finally call myself a guitar player.  I then found Robert Renman and love his approach.  If anyone knows where I can find a list of Roberts dvd's or downloads, let me know.  I'd love to throw some money at him.

funny you should sat that. he happens to love it when people do that.   ;D

welcome to the forum!
sooner or later robert will answer  your question.

marty is ok, i had his blues master class. he's more beginner oriented. i was disapointed to learn that when he says 31 discs, it's because you get the first 12 twice.  of the other 7,  one was some simple backing tracks, one was devoted to a single song, (mustang sally) and it didn't even play past the first few minutes.  the menus were a pita to navigate, and the menu music gets old really fast.  once you get bast the advanced beginner/early intermediate phase, he's got nothing for you.
he was entertaining and funny though.  watching the vids it's easy to see he's usually pretty baked.

Welcome to the forum Jerry.  :)

A year or two with Jamtracks and it's amazing how guitar can start to make sense.

I can identify with the thythm player thing - any surviving recordings (and memories) I have of many years of trying to play guitar on and off show I could do rhythm guitar OK but sucked big time at lead playing. :(  I did have one or two learn guitar books I recall with jamtracks but they were very uninspiring and un-musical tracks. The internet has been great - for lessons and for getting access to really well played backing tracks that inspire musical playing (not that they're always easy to find).

Welcome to the Forum!  Robert's primary website has lots of great free and purchasable lessons.  You'll find many great licks and lessons from him.  Unlike a few of the other really good sites, Robert does not stick to any specific genre, he really spreads his lessons over many styles.
