Overdrive or Overkill?
« on: February 14, 2012, 10:50:28 AM »
This thing here...... I wouldn't know if I should plug it into my guitar or clear it for take-off! Are there enough switches? Looks like dude was trying to turn that Boss SD-1 into a multi-effects pedal!                                                     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddqJnLTKA8o&feature=related                 Judging by the demos, it sounds like S**T to me.
Check out this BD-2! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsICEvZR5s8&feature=related Crazy!

i dunno..seems to me all one needs to do is get a one watt amp, turn the knob to dime, and play....maybe that's not enough. a kazoo will distort, too, ya know :) but the controls on a kazoo are not too impressive...maybe that's it? more knobs equals more mojo?

'do not touch this box. it will implode, sucking all within 500 feet into a warp zone of guitar distortion. unless you are trained properly, do not even LOOK at this box with all these switches. you will only get one warning!'

The Japanese are mad when it comes to modding things just check out their Drift cars, I brought a Japanese import race bike a few years back & it had so much trick gear on the thing, full Titanium & Carbon exhaust system the works.

I used to have an MT-2 Boss pedal but this one has morphed into "THE EXCUTIONER"  I think I must be rather warped for an older gent because I love that high gain screaming tone, check it out ;D

Oh yeah, I've seen that one MLJ, hehe! Hows 'bout this 'un?

Like someone wrote in the comments part, "why you mod a tuner?". Good question. Maybe one can tune up on the fly or something.

I like this comment- "I think this guy who modded this tuner needs to get laid as I think he has too much time on his hand and does not get out much".

And this one -"Que es esta basura¿" or "What is this garbage?" Anyway, that tone from that "Executioner" pedal of theirs sounds too thin, lacks balls and doesn't do the Boss MT-2 any justice. IMHO.

These guys are unreal mod your tuner thats hilarious, clever people. Where do they find the spare time?
I can't find enough time to practise my guitar, it's got to the stage where I don't want to go to work.
I have just wasted an hour trying to record a backing track from my Ipod to my Boss RC-2 Loop Station but the mongrel thing won't do it.
I brought it second hand & it works perfectly apart from doing that, jeez I tell you it is hard to have a win these days >:(
