Red, White & Blues @ Whitehouse
« on: February 22, 2012, 06:20:34 PM »
This was a performance at The Whitehouse last night. I missed the opportunity to watch live feed, but it may be coming to a PBS station in your area - click on when to watch and enter your zip code, then click "next" after your local station comes up.

If you click on performers, you'll see a great lineup!!

It will air on KERA 13 in the Dallas area Monday, February 27, 8:00pm & Thursday, March 1, 4:00am

Thanks for the heads-up!  I was just going through some of the threads here and I found your thread just in time.  This show airs in my area on Monday night (2-27), so I'm really going to try to catch it! :)

Is this the one with Gary Clark Jr? I had seen on his facebook that he just recently performed at the Whitehouse.

Going to check it out ...

I had it on my calendar but had to miss it. Had a good reason though. Through a serendipitous set of circumstances, I ran across an old friend I hadn't seen in 30 years and spent 2 hours on the phone that night with him reminiscing and catching up.

Maybe I can catch a repeat.  ;)

haynes, trucks and susan tedeschi did a good version of 'i'd rather go blind'. trucks was the one who stole the show on it though, dh.

haynes is an outstanding player, and dang good singer. so's tedeschi for that matter...so that tells you the regard i hold derek trucks' playing in....he's so good, i think if duane allman were alive, he might showup duane...(blasphemy!!!)
