Are you a Marshall amp person

I like Marshall amps, but these days I personally don't like them putting in Chinese made Celestion speakers in their amps

Well, I have a Marshall MG15CDR now and it's ok but I will probably replace it with something else as soon as I can. It's pretty limited and doesn't really produce the sound I want to get.

I am a Marshall person. I just like Marshall style of amps the best. More edgy sounding than the American style amps, I guess?

I like 'em too, but my preference is more the American "6V6" type sound. I like good cleans from an amp. I get my dirt from pedals.

My daughter had a Marshall 15CD solid state.  It really did sound good with a humbucker loaded guitar.  Not so good with a Strat.  I really like the Marshall Haze, but I can't believe they cost as much as they do when they are made in China.  Bugera is made in China to, but is half the price.

I'm never happy with my sound in the rehearsal studio if there's a Marshall head and a 4x12, although one studio had a 1970s 50 watt combo - totally different - I really liked that one, but then I prefer the livelier sound of open back combos/speaker cabs.

I'm a fender guy.  I like lots of players who use marshall, but I need fendery sounds to emanate from my finger tips.

Having said that my OCD pedal does a fair impression of a classic marshall.

I love marshalls, they're just too darn expensive for me.  I've been really liking the Marshall Haze 40W, but not the price tag.  I used my daughter MG15CD, but it didn't sound good with single coils.  It abosolutely rocked when using my old Epiphone with Gibson BB Pro's in it.

I love most amps Sure I like Marshall but in all these years, no matter which amps we try (my brother and I) We always seem to come back to a Fender Bassman miked with some effects. It just gives a great semi dirty tone and handles pedals with much aplomb. Though I do love a Twin Reverb, probably my all time favorite amp. Everyone has their likes and dislikes, I like them all.

I tried the Marshall Haze a couple weeks ago.  Wasn't as impressed with it as I'd thought.  I was using a Gibson SG Classic, so it could of just been the guitar too.  I may get a Marshall in the future, but right now, I'm loving my new handmade amp a friend made.  23 Watts through a single KT88 power tube and two 12AX7.  Monster tone!  Blown two speaker through that amp!  YEA!
