Stage 6, the final stage. Solo guitar is added.

it's all played, on Squier Telcaster MIJ E6....,  no audio quantization.

Improvisation on the 1st and 3rd chorus, melody on the 2nd.
Previous melody on guitar is removed. One on the synth doubles for the 2nd chorus and supports occasionally in the 3rd.

Vladan,

since i am at the start of the month, i have a full 'digital subscription', so i listened to the final version...pretty cool. i like the concept of video/added parts. i would have to download from soundcloud, put in my daw, add track, but sometime when i have enough 'digital cap' left, i might try that.

good stuff!

Thank you Reb, and thank you for having interest.
I'll try to upload to Soundcloud audio only versions of previous stages.

BTW, to download only audio from YT, you can use the following site, or any similar:

That's a very interesting mix...jazz with a hint of rockabilly!

Thank you Creekster, whatever it is, in harmony, style, or whatever, I'll always end playing what I play, somewhat adapted r'n'r and blues. Even over blues and r'n'r. I can't play styles, I just try to fit "good notes" into proposed rhythm and form.

BTW, I've uploaded all stages to Soundcloud.

All files are under "Creative commons attribution" copyright, so you can use them in any way, even commercially, in original or derivative form, as long as you credit me as per my instruction, and that would be a mention of me and the file used, with a link to corresponding clip on VladanMovies YT channel.

BTW...I always watch your vids, but I cannot comment because I do not have a Google+ account. I do however always hit the "Like" button!

Creekster, very appreciated. Don't worry about the comments, I've disabled them anyway.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some notes and thoughts about independent artists giving their stuff for free,
and possible reward for the deed:

1. It is wrong. More and more, people expect art products be given out for free, especially music.
However, there's no other way because major labels' artists are there available for free, already.
If, for example I, would charge for listen, or download, even these 50-200 people would go away.

2. When enjoying independent unsigned and free, turn off ad block and alike.
It is annoying, but being served an advert cost you nothing. Clicking on an advert also cost you nothing.
On the other hand it can bring couple of cents into authors' pocket.
For example, I do not use ad block, and if served an advert of interest, for a nice guitar, or whatever,
I click on it, even though I know I will not buy anything. Just like I click adverts on this forum.

3. Important thing for independent author is sharing.
Whenever you like something (enough), do not click like, but click share instead.
Do not expect others to be fair and share back. For example, approximately, I share interesting independent stuff
some 10 times more than whole WWW community share mine.

4. Subscribe to artists you like, and stay subscribed.
If info from channel is annoying (I don't know really, I do not send anything, only what YT automatically does)
do not unsubscribe, just mute those posts somehow.
For example, I subscribed to a lots of channels that after a while proved to be not so good. I did not unsubscribe
from any. I've just marked them not to be shown in my stream, or if that is impossible on that platform, I just ignore
the info I receive.

Regarding your statement..."More and more, people expect art products be given out for free, especially music. "

The marketing strategy previously meant going on tour in order to generate sales through retailers. These days musicians produce music to go for the tour dollars, which include direct marketing opportunities at concerts, and to generate traffic to websites.

The internet has definitely resulted in a paradigm shift in marketing strategy for virtually everything, and created opportunities for musicians who previously had none. And, there are still some musicians who do not intend to be commercial. They just want to be heard.

"I found him by the stage last night
He was breathing his last breath
A bottle of gin and a cigarette
Was all that he had left

I can see you make the music
'Cause you carry a guitar
But God, help the troubadour
Who tries to be a star"

So play the chords of love, my friend
Play the chords of pain
If you want to keep your song
Don't, don't, don't, don't play the chords of fame

Phil Ochs - Chords Of Fame

I totaly agree, but ...., that's only one aspect of the issue.

The real issue, for me,  is in intelectual property and rights.
Recently, on one completely unrelated forum, someone made
analogy between royalities for authors (of musical work) to
cutlery, in wording:
"You do not pay for the spoon each time you go to eat the your lunch".

It never occured to him there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Okay.....so much for the legal stuff. Now Vladan, I present to you my "attempt" at adding an ingredient to the mix! Now let me stress, "attempt"! Gave it a shot anyway. ;D ;D  Check it for errors then grade it teacher!

Hey, man, this was great.
It's always kind of strange to hear someone else going over your own compositions. I'm glad you did it this way.
Some trully beautifull moments.

Regarding legal stuff, do you agree I to upload the take to SoundCloud, In The World Project page and share that link,
if you agree on sharing first place? Of course, I will credit you exactly as per your instruction.
Also, I can set it there to be copyrighted as different Creative Commons type (other people can use it under certain conditions,
from not asking for permition at all, to meeting some agreement), or standard (no unauthorised use, written permition needed).

Ok, here's the link to zagatron1's take on SoundCloud:

And all the files again:

Also check previous posts in this thread for videoclips containing same material.

You can use them all as backing tracks, I mean, that's for my own recordings for this project.
For other people's entries you'll have to ask for permission.

And another attempt by ragman 1, this time he adapted backing to more jazzy chords, just guitar ...
