Hofner CT Club Semi-hollowbody
« on: December 07, 2010, 07:43:46 PM »
I have been wanting a Hofner CT Club Semi-hollowbody, and was just about to "pull the trigger", but they all disappeared literally overnight. MF, GC, Music123 all show them as discontinued. There are still a few on Ebay, but substantially higher than the online stores had been.

Anyone know what happened? Did Hofner pull them for some reason?

I did hear they have a whole new product line coming out, that might be why.

I hope they come out with another production run of them. I really liked the semi-hollowbody with no F-holes.

I just found out from Rob Olsen at Hofner N.A. that these are restocking soon. MF & GC both have expected availability dates of 12/29/10.

I wonder why GC is priced $100 more than MF though...

They did the same thing with an Epiphone LP standard with p-90's.  No idea why though.
