we flippity flop all over trying to find energy...and all of it causes problems. our species doesn't recognize, yet...the problem is us and our high rate of survival and breeding. if there were not so many people, we woulnd't need so much energy, and perhaps earth could stand 10% of us, but not 100% and counting faster all the time.

there is a show on pbs, joe, about america and 'where america is going'. i can't find it on my tv schedule, but it covers 'energy' in one hour program...and it's frightening. i wish it were hopeful-some will see it that way, but they won't consider population growth and the effects of that when they see 'hopeful'.
