Here we have a cool blues rock guitar riff, and it's using some wicked double stops. One of the great parts in this lesson is doing bends with 2 strings. It's a great technique to know, and if you haven't mastered it yet, this would be a great opportunity to learn it!
This is a fun riff to play. You can absolutely use this technique while playing a solo - it's a great way to get away from single-note lead playing. You can also simply make a new song from it, or part of a song - play around with it and see what you can come up with. It is simple, but it sounds great. Let me know what you think!
This is where I teach full time. Join me, and let me help you become the player you always wanted to be. I will teach you scales, improvisation, grooves, phrasing, chords, licks, solos, songs, lines, inversions, voicings, theory, tone, gear, and much more.
Just try me - it costs nothing to test drive my site for 3 days.
I have lots of gear demos too on this site. Go and take a look at some of my Guitar Videos for some examples of gear I use or have used.
