In this lesson, you will learn the A7 arpeggio in one area of the neck, using all 6 strings. It's a very powerful but also quite simple concept. I encourage you to learn these chord tone arpeggios all over the neck.
It really is the secret of how to play melodically!
Got a question for me? Let me know what you want me to teach you - just add your question here.
This is where I teach full time. Join me, and let me help you become the player you always wanted to be. I will teach you scales, improvisation, grooves, phrasing, chords, licks, solos, songs, lines, inversions, voicings, theory, tone, gear, and much more.
Just try me - it costs nothing to test drive my site for 3 days.
I have lots of gear demos too on this site. Go and take a look at some of my Guitar Videos for some examples of gear I use or have used.
I've used the A7 arpeggio as a boogie/rock/blues type bass pattern for years not knowing it was an arpeggio. I just knew the pattern could be heard as a bass or guitar part in thousands of songs. I play it going up the neck rather than staying in the A7 5th fret position. Are there similar ways of playing other arpeggios such as an A9th or diminished?
