I have tons of great lessons at Master Guitar Academy. Join me there - it's where you can learn with me every week. That's also where all my DVDs and Premium Downloads are.

Here is a fairly simple 12 bar blues solo, played not over a shuffle this time, but a straight rhythm. The key is A. The whole solo uses only 5 different licks, and when put together like this, it sounds quite alright. It's also not so hard to play. This is a beginner level blues solo lesson.
You can download this lesson for $3.99 at my Download Store
I can put this on a DVD for you, and send it to you. The cost is $8.99 and shipping is included to anywhere in the world. Use the PayPal button below to order the DVD instead of the download version.

There are lots of teachers and many different areas to learn from. It is well organized, and you can learn songs, techniques, etc - very complete website for learning. After 7 days, you will pay a monthly subscription continue. For the 7 trial, you don't have to give out your credit card number.

I have lots of gear demos too on this site. Go and take a look at some of my Guitar Videos for some examples of gear I use or have used.
“Line it Up” is fun to play. I’m trying to add another 12 bars with some variations. I also like playing it 2 frets up in B by placing a capo on the 2nd fret. Thanks!
Comment added on April 01, 2010Robert,
Love the tips ,and clips. I can't seem to get the Rock Solo. I get the notes, can't seem to get the speed. If there was a cd with more detail, perhaps that would help. I consider myself abit better than beginner, closer to an intermediate, by no means a Pro like you. But I can get most of the blues turnarounds, Am going through a Blues lesson book from Mel Bay. I own your 2 cd set lesson and would purchase more.
Join me at my guitar forum! I try to answer any questions regarding lessons, technique, playing styles, gear, etc. You are welcome to join the Dolphinstreet Forum group of players.
