Squier Classic Vibe 50s Tele - Heatseeker Video

This guitar is really cool. It has a pine body, Alnico III pickups and a sweet maple glossy neck. This guitar has great pickups - better than most other Squiers I have played.

I like the vintage look and vintage sound of this guitar. To me, it's great for bluesier style of music. The Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom Three-Tone Sunburst is great too, and do check it out as well if you are looking for a quality Telecaster to a low price. I really liked it too, and it felt and sounded more modern to my ears. Might better suited if you are after country twang. The CV Custom is $379.99.

This time, I set up my gear for rockier, more general tone. I used a Mack Heatseeker, a Zonkin' Yellow Screamer and an RC Booster.

This Telecaster has impressed me from the first time I tried it in a store. As a result, I orderded it "unplayed" from a local guitar store. You can get these online of course - they are very popular guitars right now.

Hi Robert,
How's it going mate, nice sounding guitar for that price, you get some good deals over your side of the globe,
would be double that Downunder,
I could watch you play all night.
Cheers Rich.

Hi Tom, yes it is slightly different, but it is still part of the Classic Vibe series. It has an alder body and Alnico V pickups.

Hi Robert

Re your note below....enjoyed your review and am very interested. Is the sunburst a different guitar??
